I won't be posting my novel on here, but if anyone's interested in reading, I am posting it all up here:
[link]A short synopsis, in case you need persuading

:
London, 2016. Early evening in October, bombs go off in 5 major cities across the UK, rendering technology useless and leaving the entire population in a state of panic. Ruthless soldiers appear, seemingly from nowhere, enforcing curfews and dragging the most vulnerable away to god knows where. They kill anyone who opposes them or, indeed, anyone they find out in the wasteland cities who they don't think they can kidnap.
Caught up in the middle of this is Harry Harrison and his childhood best friend, Violet. A former member of the army, Harry wants to help as many civilians as he can, but that's not so easy when the people he finds himself saving are insomniacs and tramps.
As the steadily growing group, who dub themselves the Nightwalkers as it is safest for them to venture into the city centre at night, begin to figure out what's going on and how they can help other people, they get caught up in each other and their relationships, past and present.
That's a pretty rubbish summary and it doesn't really portray what I'm trying to achieve in the novel itself, but it's the best I can do now NaNo has already turned my brain to mush
